OBITUARY
     Jesse Lee CONNER, a 77 year old Garfield, Ky resident of Breckinridge 
County, died on Wednesday, December 10, 1986 at the Woodlawn Terrace Nursing 
Home in Elizabethtown, Ky.  He was born in Breckinridge County on April 6, 1909, 
a son of the late Arthur Wallace and Lula HAYNES CONNER.
He is survived by:
one daughter, Mrs. Lillian HALA of Salt Lake City, Utah
one sister, Miss Mabel CONNER of Harned, Ky
a niece, Mrs. Elsie TABOR of Rt. 2, Leitchfield, Ky
one granddaughter and one great granddaughter
     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 1986 at the 
Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery with 
the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge in Breckinridge County, Ky.
