Bernard L. “Bernie” Cook, 85, of Irvington died
Monday July 22, 2013 at Breckinridge Memorial
Hospital in Hardinsburg.

He was born May 29, 1928 to the late Jess L. &
LeVanda Brooke West Cook. Mr. Cook was the
owner/operator of Roffler of Louisville Barber & Hair
Stylist at 3rd & Broadway. He was a U.S. Army
Veteran of World War II. He wa
s a member of the
Louisville Breakfast Club.
He was preceded in death by a brother Carlton Cook;
three sisters Dorothy Basham, Beulah Beauchamp, &
Mildred Mae Cook.  He is survived by three children;
Larry (Violet) Cook of Irvington, Elizabeth (Jimmy)
Tandy of Greenville, IN, & Freda Ann (Kenneth)
Bauman of Louisville; seven grandchildren & 13
great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Friday July 26, 2013
at 11 AM EDT at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in
Lodiburg.

Visitation will be Thursday July 25, 2013 from 1 to
8 PM EDT at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington &
after 10 AM EDT on Friday at Walnut Grove Baptist
Church.
