OBITUARY
     Alex CRIST, 78, of Fairdale, Ky in Jefferson County, died on Tuesday, 
December 5, 1989 at Humana Hospital Southwest in Jefferson County.  He was a 
native of Breckinridge County, and a retired self-employed carpenter.
Surviving Mr. CRIST are:
one son:
Alex CRIST, Jr. of Franklin, Georgia (Heard County)
four sisters:
Cordie Mae WILSON of Elizabethtown, Ky (Hardin County)
Katherine BURKHART of Radcliff, Ky (Hardin County)
Goldie CRAIG of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Alvenor VANDGRIFT of Louisville, Ky
6 grandchildren
Visitation at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, from 1-9 p.m. Wednesday, 
December 6, 1989 and Thursday.


Additional Comments:
#0174 High Plains United Methodist Church and Cemetery, located 1.8 miles 
east of the junction of the High Plains Road and Highway 690 (Custer--Corners 
Road).
