Catherine "Jenny" Kannapel Critchelow, age 78 of 

Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, 4-2-2007 at her 

residence.
 
She was born in Breckinridge County on 7-21-1928, the 

daughter of the late Ethel and Nora Roach Kannapel. 

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, a 

homemaker who enjoyed quilting,sewing,reading and 

gardening. She was a volunteer at her church.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband - Joe 

Critchelow 11-16-1999 and a great grandson Lucas 

Fetter
 
She is survived by 4 children: Joey (Penny) 

Critchelow of Hardinsburg, KY
Ruth Ann (Paul) Christian of Bedford, IN
Judy (Mark) Fetter of Bedford, IN
Marjorie (Jim) Cripe of Louisville, Ky
12 grandchildren
a brother - Merl Kannapel of Hardinsburg, KY
sisters - Mildred Mattingly,Lillian Henning & Mary

Funeral  services will be held on Thursday, 4-5-2007 

at 11 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Axtel,KY 

with Fr. Tom Buckman officiating. Burial will be in 

the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on 

Wednesday from 4-8 PM and after 8:30 AM Thursday at 

Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with the Rosary at 7 PM.
