OBITUARY
MRS. ANNA LEIGH DANIEL
     Mrs. Anna Leigh DANIEL, age 88, of Louisville, Ky., in Jefferson County, 
died on Saturday, September 4, 1999 at University Hospital in Louisville, as a 
result of injuries received in an auto accident.  Mrs. DANIEL was born in 
Breckinridge County, a daughter of the late Edgar and Nannie Lee HORSLEY 
THORNHILL.  She was retired from Hazelwood Hospital in Louisville as a 
seamstress, and was a member of the Locust Hill United Methodist Church.  A 
son, Randolph CARMAN, preceded her in death.
     She is survived by:
her husband, Marion C. "Jack" DANIEL
a half-brother
two half sisters
7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren
     The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 1999 from 
the Locust Hill United Methodist Church, with burial in the Locust Hill 
Cemetery.  Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.
