OBITUARY
M. C. DANIEL
     M. C. "Jack" DANIEL, age 82, of Louisville, Ky., in Jefferson County, died 
at his home on Wednesday, May 22, 2002.  Born in Paintsville, Ky., in Johnson 
County on April 3, 1920.  Mr. DANIEL was the son of Dr. David Harmon DANIEL and 
Elizabeth DANIEL.
     He was a retired self-employed furniture refinisher, and a member of the 
Locust Hill United Methodist Church.  His wife, Mrs. Anna Leigh DANIEL, preceded 
him in death in 1999.
     Survivors are:
7 grandchildren (named); 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren
Also surviving are nieces and nephews
     The funeral was held on Saturday, May 25, 2002, at Trent-Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in Locust Hill Cemetery.
