OBITUARY
     Mrs. Nettie DAVIS, an 85-year-old Locust Hill resident of Breckinridge 
County, died on Tuesday February 14, 1978, at Medco Center, Inc. of 
Fordsville, in Ohio County, Ky.  She was the widow of J. H. DAVIS of Locust 
Hill.  Survivors include:
two sons:
Park DAVIS, Clarksville, Indiana  (Clark County)
Percy DAVIS of Lewisport, Ky (Hancock County)
three daughters:
Mrs. Lula JONES of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Martha THOMPSON of Fredericksburg, Indiana  (Washington County)
Mrs. Linda HECK of Farmington Hills, Michigan  (Oakland County)
12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 1978 from 
the Alexander Funeral Home of Irvington with the Reverend Leonard Flener, 
officiating.  Burial was in the Turpin Cemetery in Locust Hill.

Additional Comments:
I found tombstones for Nettie SAFFER DAVIS, her husband, John Hardin DAVIS, 
and their little daughter, Dortha Evidene DAVIS.  They are buried at:
Turpin Cemetery #1, located at Locust Hill, Ky. in Breckinridge County.
