OBITUARY
     J. H. (Johnny) DAVIS, age 82, a retired farmer, died suddenly on 
Wednesday, December 27, 1967 at his home in Locust Hill.  Survivors include:
his wife, Mrs. Nettie DAVIS
two sons:
Park DAVIS of Louisville, Ky  (Jefferson County)
Percy DAVIS of Locust Hill, Ky
three daughters:
Mrs. Bob (Lula) JONES of Locust Hill, Ky
Mrs. Martha THOMPSON of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Linda HECK of Royal Oak, Michigan  (Oakland County)
12 grandchildren
one sister:
Mrs. Nannie HINES of Hardinsburg, Ky
     The funeral was conducted on Friday, December 29, 1967 from the 
Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, Ky, and burial was in the Turpin 
Cemetery, Locust Hill.

Additional Comments:
I found tombstones for Nettie SAFFER DAVIS, and her husband, John Hardin 
DAVIS. Their little daughter, Dortha Evidene DAVIS does not have a 
tombstone.  They are buried at:
Turpin Cemetery #1, located at Locust Hill, Ky. in Breckinridge County.

(My note:  When I posted the obituary for Nettie SAFFER DAVIS, I forgot her 
little girl, Dortha did not have a tombstone.  I regret my error.)
