OBITUARY
HERMAN DAVIS
     Herman DAVIS, age 76, of Route 2, Utica, Ky., in Daviess County, and 
formerly of Breckinridge County, died on Monday, July 25, 1983 at Owensboro-
Daviess County Hospital.  Mr. DAVIS was born in Breckinridge County on May 24, 
1907, the son of Ezra DAVIS & Maggie FORD DAVIS.
     Herman is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Jessie DAVIS
one daughter, Mrs. Janet GREER of Narrows, Ky
three brothers:
Clayborn DAVIS of Locust Hill, Ky
Mitchell DAVIS, Utica, Ky
Homer DAVIS of Florida
four sisters:
Mrs. Lydia HARPER of Cloverport, Ky
Mrs. Lillian HENDRICKS of Cloverport, Ky
Mrs. Ruby MOUNT of Livermore, Ky
Mrs. Ruth HORSLEY of Garfield, Ky
     The funeral will be held today, July 27, 1983 at 2 p.m. at the Locust Hill 
United Methodist Church, under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, 
Hardinsburg.  Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.

Ky 1073 (Locust Hill-Harned Road) and Ky 1401 (Woodrow Road) in central 
Breckinridge County; directly behind the church.
