OBITUARY
HOMER E. DAVIS
     Homer E. DAVIS, age 72, of Louisville, Ky., in Jefferson County, formerly 
of Breckinridge County, died Thursday, October 5, 1989 at Veteran's Hospital in 
Louisville, after a short illness.  Mr. DAVIS was born on June 7, 1917 in 
Breckinridge County, a son of the late Ezra DAVIS & Maggie FORD DAVIS.  He was a 
veteran of World War II.
     He is survived by:
two dayghters
two sons
three sisters:
Ms. Ruth HORSLEY of Cloverport, Ky
Ms. Lillian HENDRICK of Cloverport, Ky
Ms. Ruby RICHARDSON of Drakesboro, Ky
two brothers:
E. C. DAVIS of Locust Hill, Ky
Mitchell DAVIS of Cloverport, Ky
and several grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 1989 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery.

#0217 Locust Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, located at the junction of 
Ky 1073 (Locust Hill-Harned Road) and Ky 1401 (Woodrow Road) in central 
Breckinridge County; directly behind the church.
