OBITUARY
James L. Day, 34, died at his home in Louisville, Saturday, February 1, 1969, 
after a lengthy illness.  A son of Mrs. Burnell Conkwright Day, and graduated 
from Breckinridge County High School where he was a star basketball player.  
Shortly after graduation he sustained injuries in an automobile accident which 
resulted in partial paralysis.
He is survived by:
his mother, Mrs. Burnell Day of Louisville
one sister:
Norma Day of Louisville
his grandfather:
John Conkwright of Harned
one aunt:
Mrs. Regina Hall of Clinton, Maryland
six uncles:
James Conkwright
John Conkwright, Jr.
Charles Conkwright
Joseph Conkwright
Harold Conkwright
Thomas Conkwright
and several great uncles, aunts, and cousins
     Funeral services were held on Monday, February 3, 1969 from Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, with burial in Kingswood Cemetery
