ELI DEAN ----------- Prominent Citizen of Breckinridge County and a Resident of Glen Dean. Prosperous Farmer. ----------- Glen Dean, June 3. (Special) - Mr. Eli Huston Dean, a prosperous and well known farmer of Breckinridge county, died very suddenly at his late home at this place on Wednesday, May 29. A few hours before his death Mr. Dean was out overseeing the work of his farm, as he was not feeling well he returned to his home and shortly after reaching there he succumbed before medical attention could be given him. Mr. Dean was severty-two years old and spent all of his life in Breckinridge county, the place of his nativity. He was married to Miss Lucy Fisher, who preceeded him in death five years ago, and to this union three children were born and all of them survive. The are Mrs. J. M. Howard, Glen Dean; Mrs. Allen Pierce, Ludlow, Ky.; and Mr. James H. Dean, Glen Dean. The latter with his wife made their home with Mr. Dean. Mr. Dean was was an active member of the Glen Dean Baptist church and was a trustee of the church for a number of years. The funeral service was held the following Thursday being conducted by Rev. J. E. Meng. Many handsome floral offerings were sent to the family and a large concourse of friends from Fordsville and Hardinsburg were the deceased was well known, attended the funeral.
