Mrs. Maggie Lee DeHaven, age 97, of Hardinsburg, died Friday, May 8 (1981) at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital (in Hardinsburg) after a lengthy illness.  Born 
on March 2, 1884 in Breckinridge County, she was the daughter of the late 
Crittenden and Kate Harl Burton.  She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Sanford DeHaven in 1940.  Surviving are:
five daughters:
Mrs. Floy Melton, East Peoria, Illinois
Mrs. Rena Mae Crutcher, Owensboro
Mrs. Bethel Johnson, Owensboro
Mrs. Katie Whitler, Hardinsburg
Mrs. Helen DeHaven, Louisville
two sons:
Ray DeHaven, Hardinsburg
Harl DeHaven, Hardinsburg
one sister:
Mrs. Verna Stone, Hardinsburg
two brothers:
Claude Burton, El Paso, Illinois
Carter Burton, Hardinsburg
6 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren
Funeral - Monday May 11, Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg
Rev. James Voyles, Pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church
Burial - Macedonia Cemetery, Rockvale.
