David Ray DeHaven, age 77, of Hardinsburg, died Tuesday, March 9 (1982) at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg, following a lengthy illness.  Born 
October 30, 1904 in Breckinridge County, he was the son of the late Sanford and 
Maggie Burton DeHaven.  Surviving are:
one daughter:
Mrs. Earline Dempsey, Booneville, Indiana
one brother:
Harl DeHaven, Hardinsburg
Five sisters:
Mrs. Floy Melton, East Peoria, Illinois
Mrs. Rena Mae Crutcher, Owensboro
Mrs. Katie Whitler, Lakewood, Ohio
Mrs. Bethel Johnson, Owensboro
(one sister not named)
3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
Funeral - was Saturday (March 13), Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg
Rev. Jim Voyles, pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church
Burial - Macedonia Church Cemetery
