OBITUARY
     A 69 year old Harned man, William Robert DENNISON, died of an apparent 
heart attack on Thursday, July 14, 1988, near his residence.
     Jesse Pile, Harned Fire chief, said the Volunteer Fire Department was 
called to search for Mr. DENNISON shortly after noon.  He had been reported 
missing by his foster parents, Glen and Edna NORTON.  Before the fire department 
began their search, the body was found, Pile said.
     Breckinridge County coroner, Bob Rhodes said he pronounced DENNISON dead 
when he arrived at the scene at 1:20 p.m.  "It is my understanding that he left 
the house about 7:00 a.m. to check on his cattle," the coroner said.  He was not 
seen after he left his house.
     Rhodes said the heat was probably a contributing factor in the man's death.  
     Mr. DENNISON was born April 12, 1919 in Breckinridge County, a son of the 
late Jacob and Mary ROBINSON DENNISON.  He was a farmer.  His foster parents are 
his only survivors.
     Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 16, 1988 at the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church & Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge in Breckinridge County, Ky.
