OBITUARY
     Claude E. DODSON, age 85, of Raymond, Ky (Breckinridge County), died on 
Tuesday, October 28, 1986 at the Lyndon Lane Nursing Home in Louisville, Ky 
(Jefferson County).  He was born in Troy, Indiana (Perry County) on May 26, 
1901, a son of the late George Washington DODSON and Mary Ann HICKS DODSON.
     Mr. DODSON was a retired farmer.  He had been owner of the Raymond 
General Store, and secretary/treasurer of the Planters Insurance Company of 
Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County) for several years.  His wife, Mrs. Eva 
PAYNE DODSON, preceded him in death in 1969.  Survivors include:
three daughters:
Mrs. Dorothy HUFFMAN of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Ruby CURRY of Rhodelia, Ky (Meade County)
Mrs. Brenda MORGAN of Brandenburg, Ky (Meade County)
two sons:
Charles E. DODSON of New Orleans, LA (New Orleans City Parish)
G. W. DODSON of Charlestown, Indiana (Clark County)
one brother: Fred DODSON of Louisville, Ky
15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., EST on Thursday, October 30, 
1986 from the Raymond Baptist Church, of which Mr. DODSON was a member, with 
the Reverend Phillip Basinger, officiating.  Burial was in the Raymond 
Cemetery with the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, in charge of 
arrangements.

Raymond Cemetery, located at Raymond, Ky.  The cemetery lies on the western 
side of Highway 477 at the edge of town of Raymond, approxmately 4 miles 
north of Webster in north east Breckinridge County:
