DEATH NOTICE
IRVINGTON, KY (BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY) NEWS ITEM:
     A little child of Mr. DORIOT/DORIST died of severe throat trouble Saturday 
night, February 13, 1904, and was buried Sunday.



     
     

Additional Comments:
I must say first, that older tombstones are very hard to read, and it is very 
easy to copy down the wrong dates.  In this case, I believe it to be true.  I 
found the only tombstone that could possibly be this little girl in the 
Breckinridge County Cemetery Book, volume 1, published in 1991.  She was the only 
person with this surname listed.  No parents were listed.  I even check volume 2 
cemetery book that was published in 1997.  The cemetery book lists:
DORIST, Norma  28 Mar 1848 -- 13 Feb 1903
I believe the dates should actually be:
Born 28 Mar 1898  Died 13 Feb 1904
I do not think I am wrong, and I believe this to be the little girl.
