OBITUARY
     Thomas DOWELL of Louisville, in Jefferson County, Ky., died on Saturday, 
August 8, 1970 at St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville.  He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Anna DOWELL
one daughter:
Mrs. Lena Frances CARWILE, Bowling Green, Ky (Warren County)
one sister:
Mrs. Estil HARPE of Cloverport, Ky (Breckinridge County)
6 grandchildren
     Mr. DOWELL was born on February 25, 1900, a son of the late Edward & 
Elnora SHERRAN DOWELL.
     Funeral services were held on Monday, August 10, 1970 from the Dhonau 
Funeral Home in Cloverport, and burial was in the New Bethel Churah Cemetery.
