OBITUARY

     Robert L. DOWELL, age 68, of Garfield in Breckinridge County, died on Tuesday,
January 
6, 1970 at the Breck-Haven Nursing Home in Hardinsburg.  He was born in Breckinridge
County 
on March 8, 1901, a son of Abraham DOWELL and Lizzie MARSHALL DOWELL, both deceased.
 
Surviving Mr. DOWELL are:
hus wife, Mrs. Blanche DOWELL
one sister:
Mrs. Julia STINNETT of Hardinsburg, Ky
one brother:
Allen DOWELL of Valley Station, Ky (Jefferson County)
     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 1970 from the
Garfield 
Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  The Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, in charge of

arrangements.  Burial was in the Hensley Cemetery.
