OBITUARY
     James DOWELL, age 73, of Sample, Ky., who was brought to Owensboro ten days ago
for 
treatment, died at the home of his son, Dennis DOWELL, 612 Center Street, at 12:30
p.m. 
today.  He is survived by:
one other son:
Coleman DOWELL of Sample, Ky (Breckinridge County)
three daughters:
Mrs. Hester DAFFRON of Owensboro, Ky (Daviess County)
Mrs. Ruth HAYCRAFT of Owensboro, Ky
Mrs. Ella ADKINS of Sample, Ky
one brother:
John Henry DOWELL of Sample, Ky
eight sisters:
Mrs. Flora ROBERTS of Dayton, Ohio (Montgomery County)
Mrs. Eva McCOY of Medora, a neighborhood in Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Mrs. Grace BRUMFIELD of Sample, Ky
Mrs. Sallie DOWELL of Owensboro, Ky
Mrs. Maude ADKINS of Owensboro, Ky
Mrs. Claude MORRIS of Owensboro, Ky
Mrs. Mary STILLWELL of Owensboro, Ky
Mrs. Rosa DOWELL of Owensboro, Ky
     The body was removed to the Glenn Funeral Home (in Owensboro), where it will
remain 
until the funeral arrangements for which have not been completed.
