OBITUARY
     Clarence B. DOWELL, age 75, of Route 1, Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge 
County, died on April 2, 1969 at the St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville, Ky.  He 
was born in Breckinridge County on October 30, 1893.
He is survived by:
one son, Roy Franklin DOWELL of Garfield, Ky
three daughters:
Miss Lucille DOWELL of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Nancy HORSLEY of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Elizabeth MEADOR of Harned, Ky
3 grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on April 6, 1969 from the Freedom Church, and 
burial was in the Freedom Cemetery, under the direction of the Dowell Funeral 
Home, Hardinsburg.

Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; in Breckinridge County, Ky.
