OBITUARY
     Mrs. Lena B. DOWELL, age 72, of Garfield, Ky., in Breckinridge County, was 
dead on arrival at Breckinridge County Hospital in Hardinsburg on August 14, 
1968.
     Funeral services were held on August 16, 1968 from the Freedom Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church, with burial in the Freedom Cemetery.

her husband, Clarence DOWELL of Garfield, Ky

Miss Lucille DOWELL of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Elizabeth MEADOR of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Nancy HORSLEY of Louisville, Ky
3 grandchildren
one brother, Alva BEAUCHAMP of Garfield, Ky
three sisters:
Mrs. Lillee HAWKINS of Logansport, Indiana
Mrs. Lula BEAUCHAMP of Lodiburg, Ky
Mrs. Ada McCOY of Webster, Ky



Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; in Breckinridge County, Ky.
