OBITUARY     1922-2001
     Roy Franklin DOWELL, age 79, of Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died 
Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg.  He was 
born March 25, 1922 in Breckinridge County, Mr. DOWELL was the son of the late 
Clarence DOWELL and Lena BEAUCHAMP.  He was a farmer.
     He is survived by:
one sister
one niece and one nephew
     The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2001, at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; in Breckinridge County, Ky.
