OBITUARY
     Myrna DOWELL, age 73, of Garfield, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
Thursday, June 12, 1969 at Breckinridge County Hospital, Hardinsburg.  She was 
born on March 7, 1896 in Breckinridge County, a daughter of the late Mack and 
Cynthia BOWMAN BALL.
She is survived by:
her husband, Frank DOWELL of Garfield, Ky
seven children:
Mrs. Mildred WILSON of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Dorothy KINCHELOE of Russell Springs, Ky
Mrs. Virginia JONES of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Rudell METCALF of Brooks, Ky
Howard DOWELL of Garfield, Ky
Robert DOWELL of Harned, Ky
Russell DOWELL of Pleasure Ridge Park, Ky
five sisters:
Mrs. Margaret MORTON of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Fannie KRAMER of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Bessie HORSLEY of Union Star, Ky
Mrs. Amy HORSLEY of Ammons, Ky
Mrs. Mamie McHOLLAN of Ammons, Ky
six brothers:
Edison BALL of Ammons, Ky
Shacklett BALL of Stephensport, Ky
Nelson BALL of Hardinsburg, Ky
Earl BALL of Ammons, Ky
Ballard BALL of Falls of Rough, Ky
George BALL of Cairo, Illinois
     Funeral services were held on June 14, 1969 from the Freedom Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church with burial in the Freedom Cemetery.  The Dowell Funeral Home 
in Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; in Breckinridge County, Ky.
