OBITUARY 
     Paul Willard DOWELL, age 41, of Harned, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died 
on December 14, 1969 at his residence.  He was born January 1, 1928 in 
Breckinridge County, and was the son of Basil and Bertha WILLIAMS DOWELL of 
Hardinsburg, Ky.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Norma Lee DOWELL
two children:
Mrs. Wanda Sue ELLIOTT of Louisville, Ky
Charlotte DOWELL of Harned, Ky
five sisters:
Mrs. Willard NOTTINGHAM of SeRee, Ky
Mrs. Ralph NORTON of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Beulah NORTON of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Eliza KINNERSON of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Willie BASHAM of Hardinsburg, Ky
3 grandchildren
     Funeral service were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 1969 from the 
Freedom Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery under the 
direction of the Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.

#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge; in Breckinridge County, Ky.
