Trent-Dowell Funeral Home notice
Arthur E. Dowell, age 75 of Harned,KY died Tuesday, June 26,2007 at Medco 
Center in Hardinsburg,KY. He was born in Breckinridge County on 1-11-1932, the 
son of the late Roosevelt and Lena Gray Dowell. He retired from Ford Motor 
Company and was a member of the United Auto Workers union. He enjoyed farming, 
bird hunting and pulling ponies.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife - Becky in 2001
 
Arthur is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Harold & Faye Dowell of 
Locust Hill,KY
Donald & Jennifer Dowell of Locust Hill,KY
1 sister - Mayetta Taumalolo of Louisville,KY
4 grandchildren: Dusty Dowell, Buddy Macy, Crissy Meredith, Samantha Roby
4 great grandchildren: Tucker and Dwight Dowell, Anna & Ava Macy
 
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28,2007 at 11AM at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home with Rev. Don Bruington officiating. Burial will be in the Locust 
Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 27,2007  from 3:30 - 
8:00PM and after 8:30AM Thursday. Memorial contributions are requested to: 
Locust Hill Cemetery.
