OBITUARY, Page 5
     Mabel Clara DOWNS, age 96, of Hardinsburg, Ky., died Sunday, May 2, 
2004 at Medco Center of Hardinsburg.  She was born August 14,1907 in 
Breckinridge County, a daughter of the late Elmer and Betty HENDRICK DOWNS.  
She was formerly employed as a seamstress, and a member of Hardinsburg 
Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Isabelle DOWNS and 
two brothers, William and Henry Mason DOWNS.  Mrs. (should be Miss) DOWNS is 
survived by one brother.
     Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2004 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial will be in Miller Cemetery near 
Hardinsburg.

#0244 Henry Miller Cemetery #4, also known as Tates Chapel Cemetery which is 
located at Hardinsburg, Route #3, off Highway 992, one mile before the Rock 
Quarry across a field on right.  Many unmarked graves.
