OBITUARY

     Ms. Isabel E. DOWNS, age 73, of Route #3, Brandenburg, in Meade County, 
Ky, died on Wednesday, July 1, 1987 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in 
Elizabethtown, in Hardin County, Ky.  Ms. DOWNS was born in Breckinridge 
County on February 16, 1914, a daughter of the late Elmer DOWNS and Betty 
HENDRICK DOWNS.  She is survived by:
one sister:
Ms. Mabel DOWNS of Brandenburg, Ky
one brother:
Woodrow DOWNS of Phoenix, Arizona (Maricopa County)
     The funeral services was held on Saturday, July 4, 1987 from the chapel 
of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Downs 
Family Cemetery near Hardinsburg.

Additional Comments:
I do not know if Isabel DOWNS has a tombstone.  I did not find her listed with a 
tombstone in either Volume 1 or Volume 2, Breckinridge County Cemetery Books, 
published in 1991 and 1997.  Her parents and siblings are not buried in the Downs 
Family Cemetery, but are buried at:

#0244 Henry Miller Cemetery #4, also known as the Tates Chapel Cemetery, located at

Route #3, Hardinsburg, off Highway 992, one mile before the Rock Quarry across a 
field on the right.  Many unmarked graves.
