OBITUARY
     Roy C. DRAKE, age 92, of Garfield, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, Hardinsburg.  He 
was born in Buras in Breckinridge County on January 8, 1927, a son of the late 
Pascel and Flora MEADOR DRAKE.
     Roy retired from Phillip Morris, and was a member of Garfield Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church.  He enjoyed farming, turkey hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and 
riding his 4-wheeler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by:
his son, Ronnie DRAKE
his siblings:  Levi, Helen, Christine, Anna Louise, Everee (?Everett), and 
Chester.
He is survived by:
a son
2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren
     Funeral services will be held at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg 
on Thursday, February 28, 2019.  Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge County, Ky.
