JOSEPH CARROLL DRANE  1939 -- 2003
     Joseph Carroll DRANE, age 63, of SeRee, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died 
Thursday, March 27, 2003 at his home following a lengthly illness.  Born on June 
6, 1939 in SeRee.  Mr. DRANE was the son of the late Paul DRANE and Emma Ruth 
NILES.
     He was retired from LG&E, and was a member of Emmanuel Fellowship Church in 
Westview.  He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Josie DRANE; two 
sisters, Barbara CARMAN and Magdeline DRANE; and one brother, Bill DRANE.
Survivors include:
his wife, Mrs Gladys DRANE
three daughters
two sons
7 grandchildren
two sisters
four brothers
     The funeral was held on Sunday, March 30, 2003, at Emmanuel Fellowship 
Church, under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial 
was in the Fairview Cemetery.
