OBITUARY
     Mrs. Mary Katherine DRANE, age 48, of Hudson, Ky., in Breckinridge County, 
died on Monday, August 10, 1987, at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital, 
Hardinsburg, after a lengthy illness.  Mrs. DRANE was born in Breckinridge County 
on May 28, 1939, a daughter of the late Chester DOWELL and Margaret Isabelle 
COURTNEY DOWELL.
She is survived by:
her husband, Irvin DRANE
three daughters
a step-daughter
two sons
four step-sons
one sister
two brothers
3 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren
    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. (today), Wednesday, August 12, 1987, 
at the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial will follow in the 
Freedom Cemetery.



Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge County, Ky.
