Page 2, DEATH NOTICE
West View, Ky (Breckinridge County), January 18, 1929 (Special)
O.M. DRANE, a prominent merchant and citizen of this community, died at his home 
at this place on Tuesday night, January 15, 1929.  He died from pneumonia.  He was 
well-known throughout the community as he had been a merchant at West View for the 
past several years.

CARD OF THANKS, written by Mrs. Sallie NORTON, for the death of her brother, O.M. 
DRANE.

Additional Comments:
His Death Certificate #00490 lists Oscar's death date as January 16, 1929, 
matching this same date, January 16, on his tombstone.

Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, published in 1991:
#0255 Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery, located on the east side of Highway 259 
between Kingswood and Westview, about 3 miles south of Harned.  The church is no 
longer Methodist.

NOTE:  In the past the town was spelled West View.  Now it is spelled Westview.
