OBITUARY
     Willie DUKE, age 78, of Harned, Ky in Breckinridge County, died at the 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg on Friday, June 29, 1983, following 
an illness.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Dillis Dee DUKE of Custer, Ky
two daughters:
Mrs. Shirley CARMAN of Harned, Ky
Mrs. Louise DUNN of Rt.2, Hardinsburg, Ky
one son, David DUKE of Rt.2, Hardinsburg, Ky
15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren
three sisters:
Mrs. Margaret RUSHER of Hardinsburg, Ky
Mrs. Mattie BISHOP of Cloverport, Ky
Mrs. (?Miss) Lottie DUKE of Cloverport, Ky
     Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 1, 1983 at the Trent-
Dowell funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Freedom Cemetery.



Additional Comments:
#0139 Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Cemetery; Directions: turn north 
immediately west of "Dead Man's Curve" from KY Highway 60.  The church lies east 
of the road, and is blocked from view by a low ridge.  Breckinridge County, Ky.
