He was a farmer, born in Breckinridge County, a son of Steve and Pearl COMPTON DURBIN, and affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. Cora M. DURBIN of Harned, Ky one daughter: Miss Dorothy DURBIN of Harned, Ky three brothers: Kenneth DURBIN of Stephensport, Ky (Breckinridge County) James DURBIN of Irvington, Ky (Breckinridge County) Raymond DURBIN of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County) five sisters: Mrs. Mildred HAYNES of Irvington, Ky Mrs. Catherine YOUNG of Shepherdsville, Ky (Bullitt County) Mrs. Lottie LAMB of Valley Station, Ky (Jefferson County) Mrs. Lula SKAGGS of Louisville, Ky Mrs. Cova EXANIK of Illinois Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 15, 1967, from the Stinnettsville Church, under the direction of the Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg, and burial was in the Hensley Cemetery.
