OBITUARY

     James DURBIN, age 58, of Irvington in Breckinridge County, was dead on 
arrival on Friday, March 3, 1978 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital, 
Elizabethtown, Ky, following a lengthy illness.  He was the son of the late 
Steve and Pearl COMPTON DURBIN, and was born on October 5, 1919 in 
Breckinridge County.  (should be: born October 25)
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Hazel DAUGHERTY DURBIN of Irvington, Ky
three sons:
James O. DURBIN of Louisville, Ky (Jefferson County)
Randall DURBIN of Irvington, Ky
Robert Lee DURBIN of Irvington, Ky
two daughters:
Mrs. Anna Lee BEEBY of Campbellsburg, Indiana (Washington County)
Mrs. Donnie M. BOARD of Big Spring, Ky
3 grandchildren
two brothers:
Kenneth DURBIN of Hardinsburg, Ky
Raymond DURBIN of Valley Station, Ky (Jefferson County)
five sisters:
Mrs. Lottie LAMB of Valley Station, Ky
Mrs. Mildred HAYNES of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Katherine YOUNG of Coxs Creek, Ky (Nelson County)
Mrs. Lula SKAGGS of Louisville, Ky
Mrs. Cova EUBANKS of Decatur, Illinois (Macon County)
     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 1978 from the 
chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home, Irvington, and burial was in the Hensley 
Cemetery.
