Breckinridge County Herald-News, Friday, February 10, 1961
OBITUARY 
     William Verne ECKERT, age 60, died at the Breckinridge Memorial Hospital 
in Hardinsburg.  He was employed as the Band Director at the Breckinridge 
County High School.  He was born in Wisconsin.
     The funeral services were held on January 30, 1961 from the Hardinsburg 
Baptist Church.  The Dowell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements, and 
burial was in the Ivy Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Della ECKERT
one daughter:
Mrs. Marjorie GRIFFITH of Scottsburg, Indiana (Scott County)
