OBITUARY

     Roy ELLIOTT, age 85, of Hudson, Ky., in Breckinridge County, died on 
Saturday, January 2, 1988 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown.  Mr. 
ELLIOTT was born October 11, 1902 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late 
Coleman (should be Colmore) ELLIOTT and Ida SHARP ELLIOTT.  He is a retired 
farmer, and a member of the Hudson United Methodist Church.
He is survived by:
his wife, Edna WHITWORTH ELLIOTT
one daughter:
Mrs. Beatrice PORTER of Hudson, Ky
one son:
James E. ELLIOTT of Hudson, Ky
one brother:
Percy ELLIOTT of Hudson, Ky
2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Monday, January 4, 1988 from the chapel of 
the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.  Burial was in Hudson Cemetery.
