Trent-Dowell Funeral Home
Mary Josephine Embry, age 89 passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009. She was 
the former Mary Josephine Payne of McQuady, KY. She was a charter member of 
St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Bessie Payne, her brother 
Frank and her sons Dennis and Kevin.
 
She is survived by her husband Preston Embry
daughters: Barbara Embry (Dennis McKinney) and Donna Drake (Paul)
son: Robert Embry
granchildren: Mike, Greg (Trish) and Jenny Drake
sisters: Polly Keenan and Margaret Arant
brother: Stanley Payne
 
Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY on 
Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 AM CDT with the funeral service to follow at 10AM 
CDT at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery.
 
The family would like to offer their thanks to the staff at Regency Health 
Care Center for the loving care provided to her.
