OBITUARY

     Murel EMERY, age 72, of Cloverport, died on Monday, (March 1, 1982), at 
the Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital.  He was a retired farmer, and the son of 
the late Collins and Annie LOGSDON EMERY.
He is survived by:
five daughters:
Helen HARPER of Slaughters, Ky
Pearl CARWILE of Slaughters, Ky
Anna Bell EMERY of Lewisport, Ky
Genola HARL of Owensboro, Ky
Eva Jane BLAIR of Cloverport, Ky
three sons:
Collins EMERY of Hawesville, Ky
Cecil EMERY of Cloverport, Ky
Gene EMERY of McQuady, Ky
four sisters:
Laura BLAIR of Cloverport, Ky
Eva DAUGHERTY of Owensboro, Ky
Mildred DAWSON of Lewisport, Ky
Marie EMERY of St. Louis, Missouri
one brother:
Athel EMERY of Cloverport, Ky
18 grandchildren; one great grandchild
     The funeral was scheduled for 1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday, March 4, 1982) at 
the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg with the Reverend Jimmy Duke and the 
Reverend Darryl Eldridge, officiating.  Burial was to be in the Fairview 
Cemetery.
(NOTE: Mr. EMERY was buried at the Whitworth Cemetery #1 at Fairfield, Ky not 
Fairview)

Phillip Hudson's farm in Breckinridge County.
