     William Henry FENTRESS, an 83 year old Route 1, Irvington, Ky. resident in 
Breckinridge County, died on Sunday, June 21, 1992 at Hardin Memorial Hospital 
in Elizabethtown, Ky.  Mr. FENTRESS was born in Grayson County, Ky on March 24, 
1909, a son of the late William and and Lillie WEBSTER FENTRESS.
     He was retired from Harvey Aluminum, was a Methodist, and a member of 
Hardinsburg Masonic Lodge #67.  Survivors include:
his wife Mary Leigh FENTRESS
two daughters
four sons
one half-brother:
William V. FENTRESS, Jr.
one half-sister:
Lurley BELLEW of Baltimore, Maryland
13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren
     The funeral was held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 1992 from the Hudson 
United Methodist Church.  Burial was in Hudson Cemetery under the direction of 
the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
