Hit by Willard Robinson, Westview. It was dark and Robinson failed to see Fentress. Robinson was on his way to Hardinsburg where he operates a restaurant. Police said Fentress apparently was killed instantly. Breckinridge County Herald-News, Hardinsburg, Ky., Thursday, May 2, 1968: OBITUARY Walter Fentress, age 67, of Harned, died Tuesday, April 23, 1968, when he was struck by a car on U.S. Highway 60 at Harned. He was born in Grayson County, a son of the late David and Lucy Morgan Fentress. He was a retired farmer.
