Obituary

Benjamin C. FERRY, age 90, of Hardinsburg, (Breckinridge County), Ky., died at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg on Wednesday, July 6, 1960.  The 
funeral services were held on Thursday at the McDaniels Methodist Church in 
McDaniels, (Breckinridge County), Ky.  Burial was in the McDaniels Cemetery 
with the Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, in charge of arrangements.

Willie FERRY, Hardinsburg, Ky.
seven daughters (only six are listed):
Mrs. Alula HALE, Westview, Ky.
Mrs. Fannie HALE, Glen Dean, Ky
Mrs. Ree LUCAS, SeeRee, Ky.
Mrs. Dorothy MANES, Waynesville, Missouri
Mrs. Mary Ruth MARTIN, Hardinsburg, Ky.
Miss Dora Ann FERRY, Hardinsburg, Ky.
38 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.

Mr. Ferry was the father of 23 children and 19 survived him.

(NOTE:  I only count 17 children listed in his obituary.  I double checked 
when I copied the obituary off the microfilm).




Additional Comments:
Mr. Benjamin C. FERRY does not have a tombstone.  In fact, there are no burials 
with tombstones for the name FERRY in the Breckinridge County Cemetery Book, 
Vol. one, which was published in 1991.
