OBITUARY
JOHN THOMAS FLOWERS
Custer, Ky --- Jno. Thos. FLOWERS was born August 9, 1864, and departed this life 
February 19, 1946, making him 81 years, 6 months, and 10 days old.
     He was united in marriage to Marguerite SHARP in 1890.  She preceded him in
death 
in 1920.  To this union ten children were born; all of whom survive:
four sons:
Ernest F. FLOWERS
Pernie FLOWERS
Herman FLOWERS
Carl FLOWERS
six daughters:
Mrs. James THOMAS
Mrs. Weyman CARTER
Mrs. Robert NEWTON
Mrs. Mack MORGAN
Mrs. Fred SHAWLER
Mrs. Haynes DAUGHERTY
Also surviving are three brothers (not named)
A host of loved ones and friends.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
     Mr. FLOWERS professed faith in Christ at an early age, and joined the Methodist

Church at Custer, Ky. in Breckinridge County, and lived a true and devoted Christian

life.
     Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, the Reverend F. J. Perkins, who
paid 
a beautiful tribute to the memory of the deceased.
