Ford had placed the automobile on which he was replacing the engine up on blocks when the accident happened. The auto fell off the blocks crushing him. Mr. Ford was born in Breckinridge County on May 20, 1932, a son of the late Robert Ford and Mrs. Ella Barnes of Cecilia who survives. He was employed by General Electric in Louisville. Surviving in addition to his mother are: his wife: the former Mary Beth Coppage two sons: Garrett Ford, Falls of Rough Baron Ford, serving with the U. S. Marine Corps in Norfolk, Virginia a half-sister: Mrs. Martha Young, Olation, Ky five half-brothers: Glen Ford, Hammond, Indiana R. L. Ford, Falls of Rough Mike Ford, Louisville Pat Ford, Olation Jack Barnes, Cecilia 3 grandchildren Funeral - Tuesday, March 1st, Harl Funeral Home, Fordsville, in charge. Burial was in the Macedonia Cemetery near Rockvale.
