OBITUARY

TROY S. FORD
     Troy Steven Ford, age 25, of Custer, died Monday, January 1, 1995, at 
University of Louisville Hospital, following injuries he received in an 
automobile accident on December 31, 1994.  He was born in Breckinridge County, 
on April 10, 1969, the son of James Leroy and Pearline King of Garfield.  He 
was employed with Reynolds Milling Co.  Surviving other than his parents are:
a daughter:
Lauren Michelle Richards
two sisters:
Tammy Marie Armes of Flaherty
Chrystal Gail Ford of Garfield
grandparents:
Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Ford of Custer
great-grandmother:
Emma Sosh of Custer
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 4 at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.  Burial 
was in Custer Cemetery.

POLICE NEWS
Custer Man Dies After Car Crash
     Troy Steven Ford, 25, of Custer died Sunday, Jan 1, 1995 at the University 
of Louisville Hospital from injuries caused by a one-vehicle accident Saturday 
night on Hwy. 259.  Ford was traveling south in the vicinity of McDaniels when 
he lost control of his 1985 Chevrolet Camaro and ran into the brick base of a 
church sign, ending up in collision with a telephone pole.
