Page 1, OBITUARY
DEATH -- Mrs. Elisha B. GARDNER of Union Star (Breckinridge County), succumbs 
to Partial Paralysis -- Died at her home Friday afternoon, July 24, 1903 at 
3:00 of partial paralysis.  She had been in declining health since last 
January when she received a stroke.  Burial was Saturday morning at Irvington 
(Breckinridge County) at 9:00 a.m.  The funeral services were conducted by the 
Reverend J.T. LEWIS of the Irvington Baptist Church.
Mrs. GARDNER is survived by her husband and the following children:
Mrs. Sandy HENDRY of West Point (Hardin County), Ky
Ida GARDNER
Will GARDNER
Newsom GARDNER
John GARDNER
Jesse GARDNER
Two children are dead.
     Mrs. GARDNER was born in 1842.  In about 1865 she married Mr. Elisha B. 
GARDNER.  She was a member of the Cloverport Baptist Church for years.

         Elisha B.  14 Nov 1839 -- 7 Feb 1905  husband of Nancy E.
I searched for tombstones for their two children that preceded Nancy in death, 
but did not find them.  They must not have tombstones.
