OBITUARY   

     Lester M. GARNER, a 79 year old resident of Harned, Ky in Breckinridge 
County, died on Sunday, June 14, 1981, at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in 
Hardinsburg, after a lengthy illness.  He was born on December 12, 1901 in 
Breckinridge County, the son of the late Henry S. "Dick" GARNER and Lorah TUCKER.  
He was a retired farmer.  Survivors include:
his wife, Mrs. Irene CARMAN GARNER
one daughter:
Mrs. John C. (Fern) CALVERT of Hardinsburg, Ky
one granddaughter
     Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 16, 1981 from Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, Hardinsburg.  Burial was in the Hudson Cemetery.
