Page 8, Death Notice
     The sudden death of Mrs. Ell (microfilm very dim & hard to read here) 
GARRETT, came as a great shock to her friends Thursday night, April 12, 1900.  
She was stricken with paralysis Thursday about noon, and died that night.  Her 
health had been good previous to this, and she had no warning of the attack that 
took her life.
     The funeral was Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe 
GARRETT, with whom she lived, by the Reverend W. B. RUTLEDGE.

GARRETT, Polly Ann  Aug 12 1844 -- Apr 12 1900  wife of C. H.
I guess the name is Mrs. C.H., not Mrs. Ell, in the death notice in the 
newspaper.  Her husband nor her daughter has a tombstone.  (in volume one)
