Obituary

Larkin GIBSON, age 85 of Cloverport (Breckinridge County), Ky., died at 11:00 
a.m. Tuesday May 3, 1960 at the Bertha Rest Home in Hardinsburg (Breckinridge 
County), Ky., where he had been a patient for several weeks.  He was a member 
of the Cloverport Baptist Church, and had served as Deacon for several years.  
He was a member of the men's adult Bible Class of the Sunday School.  A 
retired merchant and at one time, was a Standard Oil Distributor.
Surviving Mr. GIBSON are:
one daughter:
Mrs. Jewell MARTINIK, Detroit, Michigan, who had been in the home during his 
illness.
several nieces and nephews.

The funeral services were held on Thursday at Cloverport Baptist Church, under 
the direction of the Dowell Funeral Home, Hardindburg.  Burial was in 
Cloverport Cemetery.
