A. E. GILLINGWATER  1914 - 1996
     A. E. GILLINGWATER, age 82 of Leitchfield, Ky., in Grayson County, died on 
Thursday, August 29, 1996 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital in Hardinsburg.  He 
was born on January 17, 1914 in Breckinridge County, a son of Abel and Georgia 
ELKINS GILLINGWATER.  He was a member of the Irvington United Methodist Church, 
and retired from Walthers Trucking.
Mr. GILLINGWATER is survived by:
his wife, Mrs. Verda LASLIE GILLINGWATER
one son
3 grandchildren
     Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 31, 1996 at the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home, in Hardinsburg, and burial was in the Fairview Cemetery.
